From Player to Broadcaster
New Orleans Saints 2006-2018 | Voice of the Saints 2018-2021 | Assistant Offensive Line Coach 2021
In 2018, Zach Strief made the transition from offensive tackle to voice of the New Orleans Saints. In 2021 he continued his football journey by accepting a position as the Assistant Offensive Line Coach for the New Orleans Saints.
Zach spent his 12-year career guarding New Orleans' beloved Drew Brees, three seasons calling the plays as a broadcaster and now embarks on a new journey as coach. "My love for the game of football and my connections with the Saints simply called me to this job. I played for Coach (Sean) Payton for 12 years and worked for Mr. and Mrs. Benson and Mickey (Loomis). I have learned so much from all of them and want to continue to grow as a professional. The opportunity to help the Saints bring another World Championship is just too great for me to pass up. It's time for me to go home." |
My career here has exceeded my wildest imagination.” |
